Hello Class!!!
To help you track literature assignments and due dates, I will keep a running list for your convenience and try to post the week at a glance.
Vocabulary reminder. Each week vocabulary will serve as bell work: Monday - pronunciation guide (aloud). Write out the words and definitions. Complete the matching section. Tuesday - Complete Sentence Check 1 - write out sentences and underline the vocabulary words. Wednesday - Complete Sentence Check 2 - answers only. Thursday - Complete Final Check - answers only. Class will review the chapter aloud. Friday - Chapter Quiz
For every five chapters there will be a Vocabulary exam on the unit. Your notebook will also be checked at that time. Two test grades for the unit.
Note - I have decided after reading the excerpts in our text, that we will read online together - Epic 1 and 4. Those of you that wish to read the entire epic will be able to do so. The reading will take both days. The scavenger is due at the end of the sections as this is an active reading exercise.
